Rooibos (pronounced ROY-boss), also known as redbush, is a herbal tea made from the Aspalathus linearis plant, which grows in the Cederberg region of South Africa. It brews a deep amber cup with a smooth, slightly sweet taste.

Smooth, earthy and slightly sweet. Rooibos is low in tannins, so it doesn't turn bitter the way black or green tea can when it steeps for longer.
Add 1 teaspoon of loose leaf rooibos to a cup, pour over freshly boiled water and steep for 5 to 7 minutes. Rooibos won't turn bitter if you leave it longer. Enjoy it hot, or let it cool for iced tea. It also works well as a latte or with lemon or honey.
Each 80g pack of our loose leaf rooibos makes approximately 40 serves.
